These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of QRW.io ("Service"), operated by Indaplan Kft., 1039 Budapest, Batthyány utca 35/B., Hungary.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Terms of Service

1. Description of the Service

QRW.io provides dynamic URL shortening, QR code generation, redirect management, and aggregated analytics.

The Service allows users to create short links that redirect to destination URLs defined by the user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the Service.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Distribute illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
  • Spread malware, phishing links, or spam
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Engage in deceptive or abusive practices

In particular, you must not point a short link or QR code, whether at creation or by later changing its destination, at a resource that:

  • Impersonates a bank, payment provider, public authority, or any other brand or person, or otherwise seeks to deceive a visitor into disclosing credentials, payment details, or personal data (phishing)
  • Distributes malware, ransomware, spyware, or unwanted software, or exploits a visitor's device or browser
  • Conceals its true nature or destination from visitors or from automated safety checks, including through cloaking, redirect chains, or disposable and dynamic-DNS hostnames used to evade blocking
  • Is used to circumvent the suspension, blocking, or reputation of another domain, link, or account

The redirect destination of a link may be changed after creation. That capability is part of the Service, and you remain responsible for every destination a link has ever pointed to. Changing a destination to a prohibited resource after the link was created, printed, or distributed is a serious violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to disable or remove links that violate these rules without prior notice, as described in Section 6.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The destination URLs you create
  • The content accessible via your short links
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

6. Destination Screening and Enforcement

To protect visitors and the reputation of the Service, destination URLs are checked automatically against third-party threat intelligence, currently the Google Web Risk service, when a link is created or updated, and may be re-checked periodically for as long as the link remains active.

If a destination is identified as unsafe, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

  • Refuse to create or update the link
  • Disable an existing link, so that visitors are shown a safety warning instead of being taken to the destination
  • Suspend or permanently terminate the account responsible, and any other account we reasonably believe is operated by the same person
  • Report the matter, together with the relevant links, destination URLs, account details, and access logs, to law enforcement, the affected brand, hosting and domain providers, and anti-abuse and threat-intelligence services

Automated decisions and appeal. Screening is carried out by automated means and may occasionally misidentify a lawful destination. Where we disable a link or suspend an account, we will, where feasible, inform the account holder of the reason and of whether the decision was made by automated means. You may contest such a decision by writing to support@qrw.io, and we will review it without undue delay.

No guarantee of detection. Screening is a safeguard, not a warranty. We do not guarantee that every unsafe destination will be detected, and the checks described here do not transfer to us any responsibility for the destinations you choose.

7. Reporting Abuse

If you believe a QRW.io short link or QR code points to phishing, malware, or other content prohibited by Section 4, please report it to support@qrw.io. Please include the full short link and, where you can, a description of what the destination does. We review reports without undue delay and act on them under Section 6.

8. Service Availability (No Guarantee)

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • The Service will be available at all times
  • Links will remain permanently active
  • Data will never be lost or corrupted

We are not responsible for service interruptions, downtime, hosting failures, force majeure events, cyberattacks, or infrastructure outages.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Indaplan Kft. shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • Loss of data
  • Service downtime impacts

Our total liability shall not exceed:

  • The amount paid by you in the last 12 months, or
  • EUR 100 if no fees were paid

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or create legal risk for the Company.

Upon termination, links may be disabled and data may be removed.

Termination for abuse of destination URLs is governed by Section 6.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may still apply.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Payment Processing (Stripe)

Payments on QRW.io are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card and other payment-related data do not reach the merchant (Indaplan Kft.); they are handled exclusively by Stripe. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe's Services Agreement.

16. Billing and Invoicing

All prices are shown in EUR and are gross amounts, inclusive of value added tax (VAT) where VAT is chargeable. For each completed purchase an electronic invoice (e-invoice) is issued via the Számlázz.hu invoicing service and sent to your billing email address. Issued invoices are also available in your account under Settings → Billing.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete billing information (billing name, address, country, and — for business purchases — a valid tax number). The VAT treatment of your purchase is determined by the billing country and tax status you provide:

  • Customers in Hungary, and consumers in the European Union, are charged Hungarian VAT (currently 27%).
  • Business customers in another EU member state with a valid EU VAT number are invoiced under the reverse charge mechanism (Council Directive 2006/112/EC Articles 44 and 196; Hungarian VAT Act Section 37): no Hungarian VAT is charged, and the VAT is to be accounted for by the recipient in its own member state.
  • Customers outside the European Union are invoiced without Hungarian VAT, as such supplies fall outside the territorial scope of Hungarian VAT. Local taxes or reporting obligations in your own country remain your responsibility.

A business (company) invoice can only be issued if a tax number is provided at the time of purchase. If no valid tax number is provided, the purchase is invoiced as a consumer transaction. We are not obliged to reissue invoices due to billing data you entered incorrectly; corrections may be requested at the contact address below and are handled in accordance with Hungarian invoicing rules.
